What are manual handling personal injuries?

Manual handling injuries are those that occur as a result of lifting, carrying or putting down any object by hand. They're some of the most common types of workplace accidents and can have long-term consequences such as pain or an inability to continue working. A manual handling injury can be anything from a cut or bruise to a pulled muscle, musculoskeletal injury and, in some cases, permanent disability.

If you’ve suffered an injury at work which is a result of negligence on behalf of your employer, then you could be owed compensation. Employers have a legal responsibility to ensure their staff are adequately trained and have proper equipment to carry out their jobs and personal injury solicitors can help you claim the compensation you’re owed if they have failed to do so.

At Northone Solicitors in Leeds we’re here to hep you make sure you get the compensation you deserve in the event of employer negligence. If you believe you should be paid compensation for any injury sustained at work, then give us a call or drop us a line and we’ll be in touch as soon as possible to let you know whether we can proceed.
